The many industries that have shaped Beaver County, Pennsylvania, since the early 19th century are waiting to be discovered at the Beaver County Industrial Museum! You will find us in Darlington, Pa., just off of Route 168.
There are multiple museums and historical organizations within the Darlington community, and each complements the others. Be sure to find our museum in the "little house" at 801 Plumb Street.
We are always looking for volunteers from the various industries to help with the displays and man the exhibits. If you are interested, please contact us using the form to the right or by calling (724) 624-8244.
Glass was the largest employer in Beaver County, Pa. during the 19th century; steel during the 20th century. Sadly, without the preservation efforts of many dedicated groups and individuals, what remains of these industries would be lost forever.
We offer collections from many industries, including A&S Railroad, B&W Steel, Crucible Steel, J&L Steel, Moltrup Steel, USWA (LU 1211 & 1212), Fry Glass, Co-Op Glass, Beaver Falls Glass, Phoenix Glass, and Mayer China to name a few.
Check out the rest of our website or visit us in person to learn more about the massive collections available at this little museum.
Every Sunday during May, June, July, and August ~ 1:00pm-4:30pm
Other dates and times are available by calling (724) 624-8244 for an appointment.
