Beaver County Industrial Museum
Give Us a Call 724-312-0831
We wanted to let you know that we have moved to 801 Plumb Street, just off of Route 168 in Darlington PA and are part of the Darlington Museum complex. Our museum is dedicated to the preservation of glass and steel that was made in Beaver County.
Glass was the largest employer in the nineteenth century and steel in the twentieth century. Sadly, today most of both industries are gone forever.
We are always looking for volunteers from the various industries to help with the displays and man the exhibits so if interested please use the form on the right to contact us. Or call for more information.
The collections are from many industries but the major items are from the A&S Railroad, B&W Steel, Crucible Steel, J&L Steel, Moltrup Steel, USWA
(LU 1211 & 1212), Fry Glass, Co-Op Glass, Beaver Falls Glass, Phoenix Glass and Mayer China.
The Beaver County Industrial Museum will be open
every Sunday in May, June, July and August.
We have two new displays this year. Women in Industry and
Uranium Glass
Open times on Sunday will be 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm
